Job Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced Application Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis - contract to Hire. As an Application Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software applications for our clients. You will work closely with our clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that meet their needs. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about technology and enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement software applications for clients using a variety of programming languages and tools
• Collaborate with clients to gather and understand their business requirements
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and develop solutions that meet those requirements
• Test and troubleshoot applications to ensure they meet quality standards
• Provide technical support to clients for application-related issues
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our services
• Work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure timely and successful project delivery
• Document and maintain application development processes and procedures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development or application engineering
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
• Key Technologies requirement: Java/J2EE, Oracle/SQL, IBM MQ, SNOW/ITIL Process, Splunk/Autosys
• Key Platform experience: Linux/Unix, AWS
• Strong understanding of database design and SQL
• Experience with web development and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Technologies that would be advantageous to have Containers (Kubernetes/Docker), IIB, Network understanding
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Experience working with Agile methodologies is a plus

Contract Details:

This is a full-time contractor position with NARIK CONSULTING, LLC. The contract length will be determined based on the needs of the project and may be extended based on performance and business needs. As a contractor, you will receive a competitive salary and benefits package.
