Position: Machinist

NARIK CONSULTING, LLC is seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team in Hartsville, SC. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. This is a full-time position with a 40-hour work week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate manual and CNC machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to determine machine setup and production methods
• Use precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet required specifications
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects
• Maintain and repair machines as needed to ensure optimal performance
• Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations while operating machines and handling materials
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth production flow and meet project deadlines
• Continuously seek ways to improve production processes and efficiency

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Machinist
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience with programming software (Esprit, or MasterCam etc) preferred.
• Be proficient in reading standard and metric blueprints along with knowing GD&T.
• Experience with manual and CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and grinders
• Strong knowledge of machining techniques and processes
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments and perform accurate measurements
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
