Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Civil Engineer to join our team at NARIK CONSULTING, LLC client. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, construction, and maintenance of various civil engineering projects. This includes but is not limited to roads, bridges, buildings, water and wastewater systems, and other infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct site investigations and collect data to determine project feasibility and requirements
• Prepare detailed designs, plans, and specifications for civil engineering projects
• Perform calculations and analysis to ensure structural integrity and compliance with regulations and standards
• Prepare cost estimates and project schedules
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project success
• Manage and supervise construction activities to ensure quality and timely completion
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise
• Review and approve project documents and reports
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, standards, and regulations
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and technicians

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Texas is preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering design and construction
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and codes
• Previous work with Municipal Utility Districts in TX
• Experience in project management / permitting
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong project management skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
