Position Overview: The client is seeking highly qualified candidates for succession planning and upgrading purposes. We are looking for strong, senior candidates with 5-10 years of SyteLine (INFOR/CSI) experience and over 5 years of external consulting experience. Candidates who have previously applied, interviewed, or worked at this company are not eligible. The Senior Technical Consultant should be willing to travel 25%-50% of the time.

Position Description: The Senior Technical Consultant is an experienced SyteLine developer with over 5 years of experience, providing billable services to customers in support of their SyteLine system. Depending on your skill set, you may also provide other development or technical services unrelated to SyteLine. This role requires more than 15 years of experience in customizing SyteLine ERP, INFOR CSI, and connecting to the cloud with .NET, AWS, or similar technologies. Some coding may be required. Over 10 years of experience in SyteLine or INFOR development and customization is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver services to customers through activities such as requirements gathering, analysis, formulating solutions to business issues, documenting specifications, estimating projects, development, testing, debugging, and project delivery.
  • Determine customer requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with project timelines and quality standards.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft .NET technologies, including T-SQL, VB.Net, and SQL Server Reporting Services.
  • Experience in manufacturing environments.
  • A degree in a technical discipline.
  • Basic knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Previous consulting experience is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong customer service attitude.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to seek help when needed.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
  • Ability to travel as required, using the most efficient or cost-effective mode as determined by management. Travel may include onsite customer work, internal meetings, customer meetings, and sales support. Typical travel for this role is 25%, with variations due to business demands.
  • Valid drivers license required.
