Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Aviation Civil Engineer to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support for a variety of aviation-related projects, including airport design, construction, and maintenance. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct site investigations and surveys to gather data for project planning and design
• Maintain current department organizational and quality control standards and update as and where necessary.
• Prepare detailed engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates for airport construction and improvement projects
• Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects
• Perform complex calculations and analysis to ensure designs meet safety and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other team members to develop comprehensive project plans and schedules
• Review and approve construction plans and documents to ensure compliance with project requirements and specifications
• Monitor project progress and provide technical support to construction teams
• Conduct quality control checks and inspections to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in aviation engineering to provide innovative solutions to clients

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in aviation engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and standards
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other engineering software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
