OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST (Acute Rehab & Inpatient Units)

Salary:
- Based on years of experience (0-30 years)
WORK SCHEDULES
Acute Rehab Unit Only:
- Option 1: Tuesday - Saturday (Five 8-hour shifts)
- Option 2: Wednesday - Saturday (Four 10-hour shifts)
Acute Rehab Unit & Inpatient Units (50/50 Split):
- Option 1: Tuesday - Saturday (Five 8-hour shifts)
- Option 2: Wednesday - Saturday (Four 10-hour shifts)
Shift Differentials:
- Evening Shift (3:00 PM 11:30 PM): +8%
- Night Shift (11:00 PM 7:30 AM): +11%
- No Weekend Differential
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Patient Assessment:
- Conduct comprehensive, objective evaluations based on the patients diagnosis.
- Assess cognitive, sensory-motor, self-care, and daily living functions.
- Establish a baseline of functional abilities to guide treatment.
- Treatment Planning:
- Identify functional needs and set measurable, realistic outcome goals.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the patient's condition and progress.
- Treatment Implementation:
- Deliver dynamic therapy programs to achieve or exceed treatment goals.
- Adjust therapy plans based on the patients clinical response for optimal results.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program (minimum of a bachelors degree)
- Licensed to practice Occupational Therapy in the State of Idaho (can apply before licensure)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Previous experience in Acute Care preferred
