Position Overview

Under the guidance of the Clinical Coordinator and Nursing Unit Director, you will:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care for assigned units or departments
• Use the nursing process to provide individualized, goal-oriented care in line with hospital standards
• Collaborate with other shifts and departments to ensure seamless patient care and maintain positive relationships
• Actively engage in continuous education and development

Responsibilities

• Identify existing and potential patient care issues, and seek or apply effective solutions
• Execute patient care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care
• Administer medications as needed
• Document all care provided to patients
• Plan, organize, and facilitate nursing care for assigned patients
• Assist patients with daily activities, including hygiene, nutrition, and mobility
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient status and responses to treatment to the RN, physician, patient, and families
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of each patient

Requirements

Must-Haves:

• 1.5+ years experience in bedside nursing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Associate's or Bachelors degree in Nursing
• Valid GA RN License or Multistate License (MSL)

Nice-to-Haves:

• 1.5+ years of bedside nursing with a 4:1 or 6:1 patient ratio
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
