May conduct research and create/develop products such as needs assessments, protocols, workflows, standard operating procedures, etc. May create and execute project work plans, revising as appropriate to meet the changing needs and requirements of the DCBOH telemedicine program, identify necessary resources and assign individual responsibilities related to implementation of telemedicine. The telemedicine project design, implementation and evaluation will be completed by no later than June 30, 2023. The position ends as of June 30, 2023.
1. Oversee the design and implementation ol'the DCBOH telemedicine program by June 30, 2023
Serve as primary contact for DCBOH telemedicine efforts.
Develop policies and procedures, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
Increase organizational awareness ofTelemedicine services/program.
Identify key stakeholders, incorporating their input into the planning and implementation process.
Coordinate with clinical services and community health division departments and programs in providing telemedicine services in the DCBOH health centers and on in support of providing telemedicine on.the DCBOH mobile units.
Educate clinical services and community health division staff, as applicable, on telemedicine.
Ensure the DCBOH is leveraging state approved telemedicine platforms and equipment. Work the GaDPH to maintain telemedicine inventory.
Coordinate telemedicine training with state (GaDPH)
Interact with DCBOH leadership to keep apprised oftelemedicine activity
Encourage and coordinate service development and expansion
Coordinate with DCBOH Administration, Finance, Billing to develop/implement necessary protocols and codes to bill for telemedicine services
Create and distribute district telemedicine clinic schedules, promotional material, documents, consent forms, satisfaction surveys, and various forms of information for local staff and clients
Acts as a liaison between referring physicians, patients, staff, and consultants, clinic staff, patient accounts, funding sources, and other divisions, departments, and programs, as needed.
Track customer satisfaction (remove sites, mobile unit services, patients, providers, etc.)
Collect data (service utilization, service access, etc.) and generate reports as requested and needed by DCBOH, state or other stakeholders
Responsible for performance monitoring and reporting
Make appropriate account requests to the State Office of Telemedicine, as needed for telemedicine licensing, including Pathways and Telesensi.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Good verbal and written communication skills
Experience working in a clinical setting with technicians, nurses, and physicians
General knowledge of patient scheduling system and billing system
Computer skills and an ability to learn and understand the general technical requirements for the telemedicine system
Proficient in operation of computer and experience with work processing, spreadsheet, database, email, and internet programs (Excel, Word, etc.)
Organizational skills to prioritize workload and meet deadlines, develop and carry-out project assignments in an efficient and timely manner and to provide accurate and succinct documentation of activities
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with physicians and clinical staff
Ability to exercise tact, courtesy and diplomacy when dealing with individuals at any level
Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion, use independent and mature judgment, work independently without supervision, and commitment to excellence
Working knowledge of DCBOH programs
Experience providing training for web-based solutions/programs and equipment
Experience providing troubleshooting for technology equipment in support of IT Department, as needed
Minimum Q11alifications:
Bachelors or master's degree in a Business or Healthcare related field
Experience managing telehealth programs or relevant management experience
Experience using Electronic Health Records system
Strong technology skills and working knowledge of Microsoft 36S and other office products
Result-driver critical thinking abilities

Work Environment:
General office setting - Candidate will spend the majority of their time in their respective office setting. Position includes travel to other locations about 15- 25% of the time.
