Reporting to the Senior Designer as our newest Fashion Designer you are design-obsessed with your finger closely on the pulse of the street/fashion branding space and emerging digital trends.

THE ROLE

  • Leverage your phenomenal understanding of streetwear style to design strong concepts, focussing on style and fit development with unique detailing aligned with our brand

  • Conduct product and seasonal analysis to present unique, exciting, and proactive mood boards and trends to Senior Designers

  • Constantly push creative boundaries, whilst maintaining and establishing our brand identity, working with the team to generate innovative designs that connect with our community in new ways

  • Responsible for developing new designs, as well as managing style, fit, and detailing through to the final product

  • Ensure tech packs are prepared to an exceptional standard, ensuring that our manufacturing partners can produce them as intended and designs reach the highest level of execution

  • Exceptional organisational skills to ensure briefs are finished in line with the critical path

  • Work closely with the Product Development team to communicate launch notes and sample review comments, taking ownership of new fit developments and overseeing the garment execution, to continuously ensure the final product delivers the highest quality

  • Manage Junior Designers to support them in delivering all projects on time whilst ensuring sketches and design boards are continuously correct and up to date

  • Support the Design and Production team by updating workflows and calendars to consistently maintain smooth delivery of collections


TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Excellent knowledge of fashion design and garment construction ideally with a background in jersey and womenswear design

  • Experienced in designing new silhouettes, creating measurement charts and technical packs

  • A strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, and accessories

  • Excellent sketching and CAD design skills

  • Experienced with fitting garments and communicating comments and updates

  • Excellent proficiency in Adobe packages including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

  • Ability to translate inspiration and ideas into unique product opportunities

  • High level of understanding within print and graphic applications, producing to an industry standard


A GOOD FIT LOOKS LIKE

  • A love for the brand and understanding of our mission!

  • 5+ years of work experience within the fashion industry with 3+ years of experience working in a similar role

  • Experience in managing Junior Designers

  • A genuine passion and immense knowledge of streetwear

  • Positive attitude and ability to give and receive constructive feedback, to learn and grow with the brand

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, creative environment, with a record of delivering successful projects

  • A creatively minded person, obsessed with details and design

  • Highly organised and self-sufficient with an ability to troubleshoot, prioritise and drive multiple projects simultaneously, whilst working closely with the Design and Product Development team

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Based in London

  • Eligible to work in the UK
