Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite profitable Kidnap & Ransom business in line with the companys underwriting strategy and appetite.

  Build and maintain strong relationships with Lloyds accredited brokers, corporate clients, and A+ rated capacity providers in London and internationally.

• Attract and manage quality capacity to support sustainable portfolio growth.

• Leverage proprietary data analytics, market intelligence, and risk insight to drive evidence-based underwriting decisions.

• Ensure compliance with delegated authority agreements and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with colleagues to structure tailored K&R solutions, including kidnap, ransom, extortion, and associated crisis response services.

• Drive profitable growth of the K&R portfolio, complementing the companys wider specialty offering.
  

Candidate Profile

• Proven track record in underwriting Kidnap & Ransom within the Lloyds and London Market.
  

• Strong broker and market relationships in London and internationally.
  

• Demonstrated ability to attract, retain, and grow underwriting capacity.
  

• Commercially astute with excellent negotiation and influencing skills.

• Analytical and risk-aware, comfortable applying market intelligence and data-driven insights to underwriting decisions.
