JUNIOR FINANCE COORDINATOR
Job brief
We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to maintain financial records for our clients. Our ideal candidate holds a Finance degree and is familiar with accounting software systems such as Xero, MYOB, and Reckon.
Main responsibilities include recording day-to-day financial transactions and completing the posting process for purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. You may be required to verify that transactions are recorded correctly. Bring the books to the trial balance stage. Perform partial checks on the posting process.
Bookkeeper job duties also include working closely with our accounting team to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivables, and manage invoices and tax payments.
Responsibilities:
- Manage clients books based on Australia.
- Invoice customers and follow up to ensure on-time debtor receipts.
- Accounts payable management
- Bank Reconciliations
- Payroll process
- Compliance lodgments
- Monthly Reporting including reconciliations.
- Banking/Cash handling
- Prepare information for cash flow projections.
- Communicates with managers/clients on accounting concerns, requirements, and reports.
- Special projects and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Preferred to have experience studying abroad.
- Excellent communication skills, high levels of accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent time-management skills are required. This position is required to communicate with the client directly (business managing director, general manager).
- 1+ years post-qualification experience in an end-to-end accounting role
- Strong problem-solving skills.
