Carpenter

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for a range of tasks related to building, repairing, and renovating wooden structures. The ideal candidate will have experience in various carpentry techniques and be able to work effectively with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Building Foundations: Construct and install floor beams, sub-flooring, walls, and roofing systems.
• Fitting and Installing: Install trim, doors, stairs, moulding, and hardware.
• Measuring and Cutting: Measure, cut, and join materials made of wood or wood substitutes.
• Repairing and Renovating: Repair and renovate wooden structures as needed.
• Cost Estimates: Prepare cost estimates for clients.
• Blueprints: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches.
• Other Tasks: Perform additional tasks on the job site as required, such as demolition, framing, finishing carpentry, drywall installation, and more.

Requirements:

• Experience: Proven experience as a carpenter, with a strong background in various carpentry techniques.
• Vehicle: Personal vehicle required for transportation to job sites.
• Tools: Own hand and basic power tools necessary for the job.
• Skills: Ability to measure, cut, and join materials accurately. Strong understanding of safety regulations and building codes.
