Farm Helper

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Farm Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in farm operations and animal care, particularly with livestock.

Responsibilities:

• Calving
• Managing feed inventory
• Handling and caring for animals
• Livestock branding
• Monitoring animal health
• Feeding and tending to animals
• Operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment
• Cleaning stables, barns, barnyards, and pens
• Detecting disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry
• Setting and monitoring water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns, pens, and chicken coops

Equipment and Machinery Experience:

• Combine harvester
• Farm truck
• Forage equipment
• Haying equipment
• Loader
• Manure spreader
• Tractor

Automated Systems Experience:

• Manure handling and storage
• Feeding and watering system
• Storage and silage system

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in farm operations and animal care
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Proficiency in operating farm machinery and equipment
