Agricultural Equipment Technician

We are a family-owned farm located in Morris, Manitoba, seeking an experienced Mechanic to join our team. Our farm specializes in the latest agricultural equipment and machinery, including tractors, hay harvesting equipment, telescopic handlers, trucks, and more.

Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanic with 3+ years of experience to maintain and repair our farm equipment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in wiring diagnostics, diesel engines, and agricultural machinery.

Responsibilities:

• Independently diagnose and repair a variety of farm equipment, including tractors, harvesters, trucks, and other machinery
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely
• Work in a fully heated shop with multiple work bays and all necessary support tools
• Flexible work schedule: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (during the harvest season, hours may vary)

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a Mechanic, preferably with experience in agricultural machinery
• Expertise in wiring diagnostics, diesel engines, and agricultural equipment repair
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Salary: $21-$30 per hour, depending on qualifications
