Job Description:

We are looking for a Payroll & Tax Intern to support our HR team in ensuring accurate employee payroll processing and tax reporting. This role will provide hands-on experience in handling employee tax compliance, payroll reconciliation, and statutory reporting. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in calculating and verifying employee tax deductions (PPh 21) in compliance with Indonesian tax regulations.
  • Support the preparation and submission of monthly and annual employee tax reports (e-SPT PPh 21).
  • Help reconcile payroll data with tax and statutory deductions to ensure accuracy.
  • Support the generation and distribution of employee payslips, ensuring tax components are correctly reflected.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate payroll and tax records for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Help respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, taxes
  • Stay updated with the latest tax regulations and provide support in implementing necessary changes.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to payroll, tax, and HR compliance as needed.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of Indonesian tax regulations, particularly PPh 21.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Interest in payroll, taxation, and HR compliance is a plus.
