Barman (Cape Winelands)

Barman / Bartender

We are recruiting an experienced Barman to join a high-end restaurant environment. This role is suited to someone who is service-driven, detail-oriented and confident working in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to a high standard

• Ensure consistent quality, presentation and portion control

• Set up and maintain the bar area before, during and after service

• Manage bar stock, including stock counts and replenishment

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in line with health and safety requirements

• Engage professionally with guests and contribute to an excellent guest experience

• Work closely with the restaurant and service team to ensure smooth operations

Minimum requirements

• Previous experience working as a Barman or Bartender in a restaurant or hospitality environment

• Good knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines and bar service standards

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays

• Well-groomed, professional appearance and a positive attitude
