A professional office based in Hyde Park is looking to appoint a Receptionist to manage the front desk and provide general administrative support. The role involves handling incoming calls, assisting visitors, and ensuring the reception area operates smoothly.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12)

  • At least 2 years experience in similar role

  • Additional business-related qualification or certificate will be advantageous

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or front desk role would be beneficial

  • Exceptional good English language skills - verbal 

  • Professional telephone manner and strong communication skills

  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Basic computer literacy (email, Microsoft Word, and general office systems)

  • Well-presented with a friendly and professional approach

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally

  • Welcome and assist visitors and clients at reception

  • Take and relay messages to the relevant staff members

  • Maintain a neat and organised reception area

  • Assist with basic administrative and office support tasks

  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence or deliveries

Office bound role Monday to Friday 8h00 - 16h30
