Financial Accountant (Edenvale) Permanent

Requirements

• BCom in Accounting or Finance

• Minimum 5 years experience in a mid to senior accounting role

• Strong reporting and consolidation experience

• Advanced Excel skills

• Experience with Sage or a similar ERP system

• Sound knowledge of South African tax legislation

• Logistics or supply chain exposure advantageous

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and consolidated financial reports

• Manage general ledger, month-end processes, and reconciliations

• Perform costing and variance analysis

• Support budgeting and forecasting cycles

• Ensure VAT and tax compliance

• Assist with audits and internal controls

• Support ERP system integration and process improvements

• Oversee inventory reporting and controls

• Manage cash flow reporting

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for financial reporting, costing, consolidations, and statutory compliance. The role requires strong technical skills, solid ERP exposure, and the ability to provide accurate financial insight to management while supporting operational teams.
