Maintenance Technician (Permanent) East Rand

Our client looking for an O&M Technical Support Technician to help keep operations running smoothly. The role involves supporting technical issues, planning and coordinating maintenance activities, and ensuring all work meets safety and compliance standards. The ideal candidate is experienced, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical faults on electrical and solar systems

• Support and coordinate preventative and planned maintenance

• Help reduce downtime by identifying risks early

• Complete technical reports and root cause analysis when required

• Monitor equipment performance and assist the maintenance team

• Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and compliance standards (including ISO requirements)

• Assist internal teams and clients with technical queries

• Work within agreed SLA timelines

Minimum Requirements

• 3-phase Installation Electrician qualification

• 3-5 years of experience in fault finding, system integration and solar installations

• Strong understanding of electrical systems and technical troubleshooting

• Computer literacy (MS Office, SAP/ERP systems, and relevant technical software)

• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams

• Good communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and with a team
