Multifamily Property Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Property Operations:

• Oversee the day-to-day management of a multifamily community, ensuring smooth operations and top-tier living conditions for all residents.
• Implement streamlined processes for rent collection, lease administration, and property upkeep, prioritizing efficiency and resident satisfaction.
• Track financial performance, manage budgets, and regularly assess profitability while ensuring cost-effective decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with all housing laws, regulations, and industry standards, adhering to all local, state, and federal requirements.

Leadership and Team Management:

• Lead and support a dynamic team of property staff, offering guidance and training to enhance professional growth.
• Hold regular meetings to align team objectives with company goals and reinforce a culture of continuous improvement.
• Monitor team performance, provide ongoing coaching, and foster a supportive work environment.
• Collaborate with HR to recruit, train, and retain high-performing staff members who align with company values.

Resident Relations and Community Engagement:

• Develop positive and long-lasting relationships with residents by addressing concerns promptly and maintaining open communication.
• Organize community-building activities that promote resident involvement, social interactions, and a sense of belonging.
• Ensure the property remains safe, clean, and welcoming for all community members.
• Work with local partners and service providers to enhance the overall living experience for residents.

Marketing and Business Development:

• Create and execute marketing strategies to attract new residents and maintain high occupancy rates through various channels, both online and offline.
• Build relationships with local businesses to increase visibility, drive interest, and boost community presence.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor properties to identify opportunities to elevate the community's offering and maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications:

• A bachelors degree in Property Management, Business Administration, or a related field is an asset, but not required.
• Proven experience in property management, ideally with a focus on multifamily housing, is preferred.
• Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable using property management software and familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite.
