One of our clients is seeking a dedicated Leasing Consultant to join our team. We're looking for someone who is committed to building strong community relationships, cares deeply about others, and has excellent customer service and sales skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet prospects, assess their needs, and qualify them by asking key questions and using completed guest cards.
- Record all telephone and in-person visits accurately.
- Maintain guest cards according to company procedures.
- Conduct property tours, showcasing apartments and community features in a way that meets the client's needs.
- Guide prospects through the application process and secure deposits, following company policies and Fair Housing requirements.
- Update availability reports and process applications, including credit checks and rental history verification. Submit applications for approval.
- Ensure apartments are move-in ready by the agreed-upon date.
- Assist with the orientation of new residents to the community.
- Help track and manage lease renewals, including distributing and following up on renewal notices.
Community Culture:
- Provide empathetic, respectful, and thoughtful care to all residents.
- Address concerns, resolve conflicts, and maintain a positive environment.
- Foster teamwork and camaraderie among staff members.
- Contribute to morning meetings, ensuring they are engaging and productive.
- Participate in and support scheduled community events.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Proficiency with telephones, personal computers, and Microsoft Office (Word and Outlook).
- Positive attitude and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in apartment leasing.
