Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and committed OB/GYN Physician to join our team. The successful candidate will provide full-spectrum gynecological and obstetric care, including routine check-ups, managing gynecological issues, and performing various in-office procedures. The ideal physician should be adept in outpatient care and dedicated to offering patient-centered services.

Primary Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

Conduct routine gynecological exams, such as Pap smears, breast exams, and pelvic exams.

Provide prenatal care, including regular check-ups, ultrasounds, and education on pregnancy and childbirth.

Manage gynecological conditions, including menstrual disorders, menopause, infections, and hormonal issues.

Offer family planning services, including contraceptive counseling and the insertion of IUDs or contraceptive implants.

Diagnose and treat sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and other reproductive health concerns.

Provide infertility counseling and manage reproductive challenges.

In-Office Procedures:

Colposcopy: Assess the cervix, vagina, and vulva for abnormalities and perform biopsies when needed.

Endometrial Biopsy: Collect uterine lining tissue samples for diagnostic evaluation.

Hysteroscopy: Perform visual examination of the uterine cavity to diagnose or treat issues like fibroids or polyps.

LEEP (Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure): Remove abnormal cervical tissue with an electrified wire loop.

Dilation and Curettage (D&C): Remove uterine tissue for diagnostic purposes or to address certain conditions.

Nexplanon Insertion/Removal: Insert or remove contraceptive implants.

IUD Insertion/Removal: Place or remove intrauterine devices for long-term contraception.

Cryotherapy: Use freezing techniques to treat abnormal cervical cells.

Bartholin's Cyst/Abscess Treatment: Incise and drain or marsupialize Bartholins cysts.

Ultrasound: Perform and interpret gynecological and obstetric ultrasounds.

Pessary Fitting: Fit and manage pessary devices for pelvic organ prolapse and incontinence.

Vulvar Biopsy: Collect vulvar tissue samples for diagnostic purposes.

Hysterosalpingography (HSG): Conduct and interpret office-based HSG to evaluate uterine and fallopian tube conditions.

Patient Education & Support:

Educate patients on reproductive health, contraception, pregnancy, and menopause.

Provide counseling and emotional support for reproductive health challenges, such as infertility or complex gynecological conditions.

Compliance & Documentation:

Maintain accurate, detailed patient records in compliance with clinic policies and medical regulations.

Stay up-to-date with continuing medical education (CME) and advancements in OB/GYN practices.

Qualifications:

Medical degree from an accredited institution.

Board Certification/Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Active state medical license.

Proven experience in OB/GYN care, particularly with office-based procedures.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a collaborative, team-focused setting.
