Primary Teacher

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Teacher to join our team, teaching a Year 3 classroom. This position will cover the remainder of the academic year with the possibility of teaching a different year level beyond 2024.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons to Year 3 students.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans.
• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching registration in Victoria.
• Previous experience teaching at the primary level, preferably in Year 3.
• Strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a supportive and stimulating learning environment.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
