Overview:
The Supply Chain Director is responsible for overseeing Quality Assurance (QA), Product Central operations, and Inbound Logistics. The role ensures end-to-end supply chain solutions, driving operational excellence and cost efficiency while supporting business growth. The position also emphasizes collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders to enhance service quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership (60%):
- Manage third-party logistics providers to meet service and cost standards.
- Ensure compliance with quality and operational standards.
- Oversee PO tracking and inbound logistics to ensure timely inventory delivery.
- Lead Product Central operations to achieve accuracy and efficiency.
- Monitor budgets and key performance indicators (KPIs) across functions.
- Develop a culture of engagement, empowerment, and continuous improvement.
- Customer Relationship Management (40%):
- Build strong relationships with Merchandising and Operations leadership.
- Implement performance metrics for inbound supply chain and QA functions.
- Address customer escalations and drive global vendor risk strategies.
- Enhance the customer experience through quality and vendor analysis.
Qualifications:
- Education:
Degree in Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered. - Experience:
- 5+ years in supply chain, fulfillment, QA, and logistics leadership roles.
- Proven track record in program implementation and change management.
- Skills:
- Expertise in customer relationship management (CRM).
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of quality assurance, risk management, and compliance.
