Your challenge as a Laboratory Technician / Laboratory Analyst / Laboratory Specialist
You will work on developing future energy carriers, particularly for ships. We work with hydrogen stored in powder form, which is released through our reactor system. After the hydrogen is released, the remaining powder is recovered. You will gain significant knowledge in developing new reactor systems, which also involve separation processes such as crystallization. This independent role in our new lab includes tasks such as building test setups, conducting experiments, and designing improved or new experiments. Your role will combine lab testing and office work, and you will have workstations in both the lab and the office.

Team
You will be part of our FlexxGroep, which consists of a team of 10 people. You will primarily work with Jordy the Chemical Engineer and collaborate with our 5 engineering colleagues. In practical terms: Every Monday, we exercise together (boot camp), and the company provides a personal trainer. On Wednesdays, the company organizes a free lunch. You will have flexible working hours, and working from home one day a week is possible. Your starting salary will depend on your experience and knowledge, ranging between 2,800 and 3,500 gross per month. You can choose to work 32, 36, or 40 hours per week.
The ideal Laboratory Technician / Laboratory Assistant
You have a Bachelor's degree combined with some practical laboratory experience, or at least 5 years of laboratory experience. Its important that you dont only have theoretical knowledge. You should be willing to take on tasks outside of your job description. In our small company, everyone is flexible, and our goal is to get the job done.
About Hydroflexx and SodaFlexx International
HydroFlexx, part of FlexxGroep, designs and supplies systems to convert specific hydrogen carriers' energy into electrical energy or propulsion, completely emission-free and CO2 neutral, especially on ships but also beyond. Hydroflexx has its own laboratory and production facility in which these systems are developed in Etten-Leur.
SodaFlexx International is an equipment innovator established in 2018 to provide the marine industry an alternative to traditional wet scrubbers.
