MuvMi is an on-demand ridesharing service, conveniently moving over 30,000 people per day around neighborhoods and connecting people to mass transit with a safe, affordable, and environmentally friendly solution. Job Description: Backend Developer - (Full-time)

Key responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Design, re-architect, and develop a scalable system

• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code

• Review code and provide constructive feedback to team members

• Participate in system design and architecture discussions

• Investigate, debug, and fix issues in existing systems

• Collaborate with product owners, business team, and other stakeholders

• Share ideas with the business to improve our products and services

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with at least one backend programming language (e.g., Node.js, Go, Python, Java, etc.)

• Ability to learn new languages and frameworks quickly

• Strong understanding of RESTful API design, and SQL/NoSQL database design

• Experience with designing and operating high-concurrency systems handling large volumes of requests and parallel workloads

• Experience with frontend development using ReactJS is a great plus

• Product mindset, you are not a coder, but a product developer who works in a team to deliver awesome products

We are a transportation tech company with extensive experience in both software and hardware. Currently, our flagship products, MuvMi and TukTuk Hop, which were launched in 2018, have served over 26 million trips with more than 800 electric vehicles. With positive feedback from our pilot, we are rapidly expanding our service in Bangkok and many cities in Thailand. We believe that we can change how people mobilize around cities in Southeast Asia. We are looking for leaders and champions to help us grow.

We are a small (90+ people) and agile team. We make things happen and are looking for similar entrepreneurial spirits to join our team.
