We are looking for an Automation Engineer (RPA Engineer) to improve operational efficiency by creating and maintaining scalable automation solutions that integrate smoothly with existing workflows while ensuring compliance and security.
You will join a fast-growing impact start-up revolutionizing technological innovation and highly qualified specialist support in the hospitality industry. They give solutions for the RFP (Request for Proposal) process to speed up revenue management by automating rate decisions and using historical data and demand trends to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Performance objectives
1) Analyze and automate key processes
Identify and evaluate workflows suitable for automation by collaborating with stakeholders to map processes and pinpoint inefficiencies. Design tailored RPA solutions that reduce manual effort, improve accuracy and align with project goals.
To achieve this objective you should:
- Conduct a detailed assessment to identify workflows suitable for automation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document existing processes.
- Design and implement robust RPA solutions to streamline operations.
2. Develop and deploy scalable automation solutions
Build and implement robust automation workflows using tools like Selenium Webdriver, Puppeteer, or WebdriverIO. Ensure solutions are efficient, secure, and scalable through thorough testing and adherence to industry standards.
To achieve this objective you should:
- Build initial automation workflows targeting high-impact areas.
- Utilize tools like Selenium Webdriver, Puppeteer, and WebdriverIO to ensure efficiency and scalability.
- Test and deploy solutions while ensuring compliance with security and industry standards.
3. Establish frameworks
Develop best practices for automation, including coding standards and CI/CD integration. Share knowledge through training, workshops, and documentation.
To achieve this objective you should:
- Create best practices and guidelines for automation projects, including coding standards, version control, and CI/CD processes.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation to support ongoing maintenance and optimization.
Ideal candidate attributes
Must-to-have skills
- Experience with browser automation tools (e.g., Selenium Webdriver, Puppeteer, WebdriverIO).
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C#).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., GitHub, GitLab) and CI/CD tools.
- Solid understanding of web applications.
- Familiarity with DOM, HTML, and CSS.
- Ability to assess processes and identify optimization opportunities.
- Capable of debugging and resolving complex issues in automation workflows.
- Proficient in coding best practices to create efficient and maintainable solutions.
- Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
