Key Performance Objectives


1. Filling key roles

The Senior Tech Recruiter will be responsible for closing a minimum of two mid- to senior-level roles per month, ensuring alignment with Munich Ventures high standards and the unique needs of our client startups. This will involve leveraging Munich Ventures extensive network, strategic sourcing methods, and employer reputation to identify and attract the best candidates. By consistently meeting this target, the recruiter will help maintain an efficient hiring pipeline to support ongoing growth and innovation.

2. Ensuring excellent candidate experience

The recruiter will deliver a high-quality candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from the initial touchpoint to the final offer stage. This includes clear and timely communication, providing meaningful feedback, and maintaining a positive and professional interaction with all candidates. The goal is to achieve a candidate satisfaction score of at least 90%, reinforcing Munich Ventures reputation as an employer of choice.

3. Recruitment administration

The Senior Tech Recruiter will manage all administrative aspects of the recruitment process. This includes maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (Manatal ATS), preparing reports on key hiring metrics, and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. These efforts will contribute to efficient and scalable recruitment operations.

4. Assisting HR in related disciplines

The recruiter will collaborate with the HR team on initiatives that enhance Munich Ventures employer brand, such as crafting compelling job descriptions, contributing to social media campaigns, and participating in talent branding events. Additionally, they will assist in refining recruitment strategies to align with market trends and organizational goals, ensuring Munich Ventures stays competitive in attracting top talent.

5. Building and maintaining talent pools

To support future hiring needs, the recruiter will proactively build and nurture talent pools for key roles (we use Manatal as an ATS). This includes engaging with passive candidates, maintaining relationships with top prospects, and leveraging networking opportunities to ensure a steady pipeline of high-quality candidates is available.

6. Partnering with key stakeholders

The Senior Tech Recruiter will work closely with hiring managers, including leaders such as Hrayr and Tigran, to understand their specific hiring needs and provide strategic recruitment support. This includes advising on market trends, role specifications, and candidate profiles to ensure hiring decisions align with Munich Ventures goals.

Must have qualifications:

  • Experience: 6+ years in Recruitment, including at least 2 years in startup or tech-driven environments.
  • Expertise in recruitment metrics and reporting.
  • Experience with recruitment tools and technologies.
  • Fluency in English (written, spoken, professional).

Hiring stages


1) Application Screening:
Your application will be carefully reviewed to ensure it aligns with the key qualifications and experiences required for this senior-level opportunity. This is your chance to showcase how your background and achievements align with the role.

2) Screening Call:
A brief conversation to get to know you, discuss your background, and understand what excites you about this role and our company. Its also an opportunity for you to ask any initial questions and get a glimpse of what makes Munich Ventures unique.

3) Task:
In this stage, you will be asked to complete a task or assignment that mirrors your challenges in the role. This may involve sourcing a set of candidates for a hypothetical position, creating a recruitment strategy, or analyzing a recruitment metric report. The task will demonstrate your practical skills and ability to execute in real-life scenarios.

4) HR Deep Dive Interview:
A structured interview to assess your technical recruitment skills, including sourcing techniques, candidate evaluation, stakeholder collaboration, and experience with recruitment metrics and tools. This stage may include scenario-based questions to evaluate your problem-solving approach.

5) Executive-Focus Interview:
A strategic discussion with one of our co-founders, who will also be your manager. This is your opportunity to present your vision for the role and hear directly from the leadership team about the company’s growth strategy. Feel free to ask your big-picture questions and gain insights into the company’s long-term goals.
