We are looking for a Junior Manual QA Engineer based in our Charentsavan branch to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. This role involves designing and executing manual test cases and ensuring our systems meet customer expectations and standards.

You will join a fast-growing impact start-up revolutionizing technological innovation and highly qualified specialist support in the hospitality industry. They give solutions for the RFP (Request for Proposal) process to speed up revenue management by automating rate decisions and using historical data and demand trends to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Performance objectives

1. Test case design and execution

Collaborate with development and product teams to translate requirements into detailed test cases. Perform manual testing to validate functionality, identify issues, and ensure a seamless user experience.

To achieve this objective you should:

  • Develop and execute manual test cases for web and database 

    applications.
  • Validate workflows and processes in the Manatal database for first-time setup.
  • Identify edge cases and ensure thorough testing coverage.


2. Bug Identification and reporting
Identify and document software bugs in tools such as Jira. Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution and perform retests to verify fixes.

To achieve this objective you should:

  • Conduct exploratory and functional testing to uncover potential issues.

  • Log detailed bug reports with clear replication steps and screenshots.

  • Work closely with developers to prioritize and resolve issues.


Ideal candidate attributes

Must-to-have skills

  • Experience with manual testing techniques for web and database 

    systems.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify issues and suggest process improvements.
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira (or similar issue-tracking software).


Nice-to-have skills

  • Basic understanding of database structures and testing methodologies.

  • Basic understanding of clients service architecture

  • Basic understanding of APIs (experience with tools such as Postman,Swagger)

  5. Simulator task: To analyze the functionality of the simulator, execute it, and identify any possible bugs or inconsistencies.
  6. Executive focus Interview: You will meet our CTO for a detailed discussion of who we are and what our goals are. In this meeting, you will learn more about Munich Ventures as a business and introduce your experience aligned with our expectations and requirements.
