Multilingual Connections (MLC), LLC, is an Illinois Limited Liability Company, LLC, and your privacy is important to us. Multilingual Connections, its affiliates and subsidiaries (“we” or “our” or “us” or “MLC”) (collectively, the “Site”), provides this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) explaining our online information practices and the choices you have about how your information is collected and used here on our Site.

What is Personal Information and How Much Do We Collect?
“Personal Information” is information about you that may be used to personally identify you, including, but not limited to, your first and last name, a home or physical address, email address, phone number, and any other contact information you choose to share with us.
We respect your online privacy and your rights to the way any of the Personal Information you share with us is used.
You don’t need to provide any Personal Information to use our Site, however, in order to inquire and/or participate in certain services we offer through the Site, you need to provide us with at least your first and last name and email address to get started. When using our Translation Services, you will also need to provide billing information. Billing information we collect through the Site is used solely to check the qualifications of prospective clients and to bill for our services. We will never, ever use your billing information for marketing purposes.
Occasionally, though, we send out email and surveys in which you may choose to voluntarily disclose certain information such as demographics, tastes, and more. Please only share information you’re comfortable with.
How Do We Use Your Personal Information?
We use the information you share with us to operate our business, which includes, using your information:

- for recruitment purposes, if you submit an application for employment with us via our Site.

What Are Your Rights?
You have the right to choose whether or not to provide Personal Information to us. The notices we will provide where we collect Personal Information on the Site should help you make your choice. If you choose not to provide the Personal Information we request, you can still visit parts of the Site, but you will unable to access certain options, offers, and services that involve our interaction with you. With that in mind, you should know that you have the following rights:
- to request access to your information + information related to the use + processing of your information;
- to request the correction or deletion of your information – this is arguably one of the coolest tenets of the GDPR. Article 17 provides your “Right to be Forgotten”;
- to request that we restrict our use of your information;
- to receive information which you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format (e.g. a CSV file) and the right to have that information transferred to another data controller (including a 3rd party data controller);
- to object to the processing of your information for certain purposes;
- to withdraw your consent to our use of your information at any time where we rely on your consent to use or process that information. How About Children’s Privacy?
Our Site isn’t designed for anyone under the age of 18, so we don’t intend to collect Personal Information from anyone we know to be under 18 years of age. If you’re under 18, please don’t submit any information to us. Thanks.
What About Unusual Events?
In the event that we are acquired by another company or merged with a 3rd party, we reserve the right, in any of these circumstances, to transfer or assign the information we’ve collected from you as part of such a merger, acquisition, sale, or other change of our business control. In the unlikely event that we would experience bankruptcy, insolvency, reorganization, receivership, or assignment for the benefit of creditors, or the application of laws or equitable principles affecting creditors’ rights generally, we may not be able to control how your Personal Information is treated, transferred, or used.
Are You a California Resident?
California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits our clients who are California residents to request certain information regarding its disclosure of personal information to 3rd parties for their direct marketing purposes. What About Your Consent?
By using our Site, you agree to consent to our Privacy Policy and to our processing of Personal Information for the purposes we’ve outlined above.
