Truck Operator

We are seeking highly motivated, focused and flexible Truck Operators to support our harvesting operations in Bowen, Queensland. This role is vital to ensuring the timely transport of our fresh produce from field to facility.

For skilled Truck Drivers with strong spatial awareness, we offer opportunities to progress to Harvester Operator roles, supporting your career development in agricultural operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate trucks safely and legally in accordance with company safety policies
• Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility requirements
• Transport perishable produce efficiently within required timeframes
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and promptly report equipment issues
• Support quality assurance processes for fresh produce handling
• Actively participate in team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives
• Work collaboratively to achieve team, site and company goals

Skills & Qualifications Required

• Current HR or HC licence (MC licence highly desirable)
• Minimum 3 years' experience driving trucks in a road environment
• Experience operating articulated vehicles
• Experience transporting perishable goods
• Ability to work extended hours at short notice, including weekends
• Good understanding of fatigue management requirements
• Ability to undertake minor mechanical repairs
• Chain of Responsibility knowledge (accreditation highly desirable)
