Fresh Graduate Program 2027 - Project & Engineering – SURF

Mubadala Energy Fresh Graduate Program is an internship program with excellent ways to gain exposure and working experience in an international Oil and Gas Company, as well as an opportunity to develop knowledge, skills and competencies. The program will start in the beginning of 2027 up to 31 December 2027.

Responsibilities include but not limited:

  • Support the SPS & SURF team in monitoring long lead equipment procurement progress and identifying potential issues.
  • Assist in coordinating interfaces with other project functions, including FPSO and Drilling teams.
  • Track technical queries and contractor correspondence, supporting timely responses and follow up actions.
  • Support engineering and procurement activities, including technical bid evaluations, procurement meetings, and documentation coordination.
  • Assist in preparing design review and constructability workshops and tracking related actions.
  • Support the review of offshore campaign schedules and development of time lapse simulations to identify potential simultaneous operations (SIMOPS).
  • Develop an understanding of construction and installation documentation and permitting requirements for work in Indonesian waters.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations, including a final internship project presentation.

Qualifications:

  • Fresh graduates with bachelor's degree in Ocean Engineering, Offshore Engineering, or Civil Engineering with Offshore focus with strong academic performance are encouraged to apply.
  • This Program is Open to Fresh Graduates & Early Career Professionals (up to 1 Year Experience, internship included)
  • Minimum GPA (Grade Point Average) is 3.20 out of 4.00
  • Basic understanding of offshore facilities, including fixed and floating platforms, subsea pipelines, and risers.
  • Basic understanding of field development concepts, including subsea tie backs, host processing platforms, and export systems.
  • Experience developing simple engineering calculation spreadsheets, such as pipe wall thickness sizing, on bottom stability, or steel structure strength analysis.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English, with confidence to participate in technical discussions with internal teams and contractors.
  • Strong interest in subsea, pipeline, and offshore engineering, with a willingness to develop technical and project management competencies.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and willing to undertake both administrative coordination tasks and technical engineering assignments.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail, accountability, initiative, and commitment to delivering high quality work
