  • Provide technical recommendations on development well count, scope and timing for new projects.
  • Liaise with commercial/economics team in delivering field economics analysis as required.
  • Liaise with facilities teams for all CAPEX/OPEX inputs as required.
  • Prepare technical documentation and presentations as required to meet reporting requirements.
  • Act as responsible party for submission of all corporate and Petronas reports (i.e., IOM, WPB, ARPR, BP).

Reservoir Management Plan

  • Interpret field data including production, pressure and sample data to advise on additional data gathering techniques, scope and timing.
  • Design, implement and interpret well tests, including MRTs and planned PBUs.
  • Design and implement well sampling plans.
  • Design and implement well intervention plans, including downhole pressure surveys, production and saturation logs.
  • Develop the Reservoir Management Plan to maximise useful data gathering and interpretation to support future development decisions.
  • Support Digitalisation and Well/Reservoir Surveillance Automation Initiatives.

HSSE

  • The Reservoir Engineer will be expected to gain early familiarisation with Mubadala HSSE policy and ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with same.

Reporting, Stakeholder Engagement & Management

  • Provide updates to Management on production updates, well status and key Reservoir Performance Indicators.
  • Provide Reservoir Engineering presentations and reports as required including for External Engagements, including TCMs, MCMs, Petronas Reports (eg, IOM, ARPR, WPB).
  • Provide Reservoir Engineering presentations and reports as required including for Internal Engagements, including Subsurface Workshops, TeComs, and Project Gate Reviews.
