ROLE PURPOSE:

Responsible for the safe operation of the facilities in accordance with established standards, procedures and instructions. Responsible to ensure that equipment is not operated outside design parameters and controls whilst minimising downtime and maximising uptime to ensure daily production quotas are met. Professionally and properly manage risk by ensuring compliance with the Permit To Work System Procedure, Isolation Procedure and by the implementation, where appropriate, of Risk Assessments. Support activities to mitigate identified risks.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

HSSE

  • Understanding, control and managing of the Permit To Work system.
  • Participate in Hazards Observation Cards, Safety Action Tracking system, and ensure dissemination of corrective actions and lessons learned.
  • Supporting and participate in Incident investigation and reporting system
  • Actively involved in Safety Meeting, tracking and updating related issues.
  • Supporting and participate in any Internal or External Audits
  • Responsible and actively participating during Major Emergency Management, either in Actual or Regular Drill/Training condition.

Operation Management System (OMS)

  • Read and understanding the policies and procedure.
  • To ensure systems and procedures are clearly established for daily operations.
  • To ensure critical equipment and systems in the safeguarding of asset integrity are identified and are subject to integrity controls, including inspection, examination, testing, calibration and regular maintenance during the entire lifecycle.

Platform Activities

  • Produce schedule for daily activities and planned shutdown.
  • Assessment of daily information, priorities, action, delegate and close out.
  • Organizing workload, workforce, logistics among team members.
  • Ensure all platform activities either by regular platform crews or contractors, applying approved procedures and PTW.
  • Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance of Safety Critical Equipment (SCE) periodically.

Platform Maintenance

  • Responsible of meeting Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly Preventive Maintenance schedule.
  • Manage and monitoring Preventive Maintenance record in the system
  • Managing platform day to day business.
  • Strong technical knowledge of platform equipment and lead in effective trouble shooting activities.
  • Ensure all planned and unplanned activities are being done in safely and efficient manner.
  • Responsible to Lead inspection on major equipment failure and prepare a detailed scope of work and technical specification to effect repairs or improvement.

Turnaround Planning / Planned Shutdown

  • Responsible of planning Platform Planned Shutdown and their planned major activities.
  • Responsible for the preparations of documentation associated to planned shutdown activities.
  • Responsible supporting Production Team for Bring Back Online Operations in Safe and Efficient manner
  • Coordinate with engineers and supervisor for major activities such as overhaul gas turbines, painting work and implementation of approved modifications.

Annual Platform Budget

  • Responsible to assist and support project individual budget installations and control.
  • Responsible plan and communicate budget planning and getting team members involvement.
  • Responsible and leads to closed out all budgetary documentations and paper works

Platform Audit

  • Responsible to ensure and supportive in Internal and External Audit.
  • Responsible to ensure the audit runs in Just and Fair Culture willing to expose, learn and improve culture.
  • Participate and involve with audit finding and take immediate closure actions and follow up.

Competence Assurance Program

  • Participate CA Assessor training.
  • Fully supporting and ensuring the successful implementation of Platform CA program.
  • Continuous managing, monitoring completions and ensuring highest quality of team members CA task assignment.
  • Act as Mentor, Coaches and Assessor to the platform team members.

Staff Development

  • Responsible in planning and identifying training needs for the team members based in CA standard guideline.
  • Responsible to plan and balancing between training scheduling and platform workforce needs.
  • Performing fair and transparent annual appraisal for the team members.

Daily Maintenance Report

  • Responsible to ensure compliance to all relevant Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental management procedures and controls.
  • Responsible to produced, maintain precise and accurate close out reports in timely manner.

Communication

  • Responsible to review and assist feedback as required to offshore and onshore supporting group.
  • Be able to be constructive, optimistic and confident interaction between platform employees, team members and offshore support group.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Knowledge:

  • Diploma or equivalent qualification in engineering or applied science from a recognized university or higher institution of learning
  • Conversant with Offshore Platform Operations and Maintenance activities and Simultaneous Platform Operations
  • Familiar with oil and gas offshore platform operations set-up, structures, environment, work processes and procedures in Malaysia.

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years working experience in Oil and Gas Offshore Production Operating Platform.
  • Minimum 5 years experiences with Offshore Gas Production Operating Platform as Maintenance Supervisor or equivalent is an advantage

Skills:

  • Computer strong understanding of CMMS, proficient in the use of Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Effective communicator at all levels; fluent in English, oral and written.
  • Effective in planning, scheduling and prioritizing work tasks.
  • Ability to motivate and encourage learning for effective people development.
  • Ability to coordinate, interface, organize and/or chairing meetings.
