ROLE PURPOSE:

  • Performs routine scheduled maintenance on various types of instrumentation control, monitoring and automation equipment and system such as transmitters, controllers, converters, recorders, positioners, detectors and shutdown devices, telecommunication and processes metering.
  • Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic loops, electronic circuitry, relay control logic diagrams and Programmable Logic Control (PLC) systems for the instrumentation control, monitoring and automation equipment and system.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Maintenance, operation, inspection, functional test/check and calibration of pressure, temperature, flow and level measuring and controlling field instrumentations such as transmitters, system controllers, I/P converters, actuated control valves, valves positioners and switches.
  • Maintenance, operation, inspection, functional test/check and calibration of Safety Instrumented System (SIS) control and automation systems and associated hardware such as pressure, temperature, flow and level shutdown devices.
  • Maintenance, operation, inspection, functional test/check and calibration Fire and Gas System (FGS) control and automation systems and associated hardware such as gas, smoke, heat and fire monitoring, detection and shutdown devices.
  • Maintenance, operation, calibration and functional checks Process Control System (PCS) control and automation systems and associated monitoring and display devices.
  • Maintenance, operation, inspection, functional test/check of telecommunication systems and hardware.
  • Maintenance, operation, inspection, functional test/check of gas and condensate metering computerized systems and associated hardware such flow, pressure and temperature sensors.

Project Delivery
-All instrument related project documents (design documents, technical notes, procedures, drawings, etc) that are required as references during operations are being identified and ready for safe keeping at -Pegaga platform library.
-Participate in all project delivery activities including pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up of all instrumentation equipment and systems.

HSSE
- Attend all mandatory and required HSSE trainings including all Take HEARRT modules.
- Observe and implement MP HSSE Golden rules at both project sites and on Pegaga platform
- Perform assigned HSSE Critical Roles including as member of Pegaga Emergency Response Team
- Participate in any Pegaga related HSSE reviews and audits

Training and Development
- Responsible to align own development with company staff development plan and manage own competency development through gap identification and analysis.
- Responsible to close those identified skills and competency gaps by identifying and attending appropriate trainings.
- IPC / IDP to be self-managed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & EXPERIENCE:

Knowledge:
- Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Instrumentation/Electronic or related discipline.
- Preferable with *BTEC ONC (Instrument Level-2/3)qualification

Experience:
-Min. 10 years experience in operations and maintenance of instrumentation, controls and automation equipment/system on offshore oil and gas production and processing facilities.

-Must be able to effectively communicate and speak English.
