Role Purpose/Accountabilities

To provide exposure and training to interns interested to obtain a thorough understanding in Information Technology in upstream Oil & Gas industry. Job scope includes:

  • User Support & Troubleshooting: Acquire hands-on experience in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues for end-users, including computers, printers, audiovisual systems, and mobile devices.
  • System & Network Assistance: Gain direct experience with the backbone of IT operations and identify issues before they escalate and understand how networks stay secure and stable.
  • Asset Management: Develop an understanding of IT asset tracking and inventory management processes for hardware and peripheral equipment.
  • Documentation: Contribute to the IT knowledge base by documenting standard operating procedures and troubleshooting guides for common issues.
  • Digital Transformation Initiatives: Gain exposure to emerging digital technologies and initiatives, such as digital twin systems and their applications in modern IT environments.

Pre-Requisite

Malaysian studying full-time at local/overseas universities.

Academic Qualification: Studying Bachelor/Master Degree. Achieved minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.5 at the point of internship application.

Field of Study: Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science

  • Good written and oral communication in English
  • Good computer skills Microsoft Office application
  • Good interpersonal skills with positive attitude
  • Motivated to learn and improve knowledge and skills
  • Leadership experience and capabilities through extra-curricular activities
