About the job Financial Analyst
ROLE PURPOSE:
Support the Finance Manager in month/quarter/year end closing and reporting entities, preparing various reconciliations and intercompany billing.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Monthly & Quarterly close process
- Support timely and accurate monthly and quarterly journals to support the monthly (including Quarters & Annual) close process.
- Support PPE capitalization and calculation of depreciation.
- Support quarterly impairment testing.
- Support the team in ensuring all assets, liabilities, expenses and revenues are captured in accordance with IFRS/MFRS, Group and Company's Accounting Policies and related statutory and legal requirements.
- Perform end-to end CUs month end closing process.
- To complete the upload of financial results in Jedox system for group submission.
- Support detailed monthly balance sheet reconciliation to sub ledger/Oracle module.
Support monthly reconciliations & allocation process
- Perform timely completion of monthly bank and cash management reconciliation.
- Fixed Asset reconciliation & intercompany reconciliation.
Managing intercompany receivables and payables.
- Ensure timely and complete billing of intercompany charges to all Mubadala entities.
- Ensure charges from other inter-companies to SK320 are approved by respective department.
- trigger appropriate budget request approval when necessary.
- Provide monthly intercompany billing burn rate and analysis by working closely with Budget Team.
Support Updates on Financial Processes and Control Registers in relation to ADAA and ICoFR
- Support team lead in managing ICoFR framework, Entity Level Controls and Financial Processes Control Registers.
- Support testing of design and operational effectiveness of controls for financial sub-processes.
Vendor Master Data Creation and Update
- Ensure vendor master data creation is complete, valid and with respective supporting documents.
- Ensure accuracy of update in system and Vendor Master creation/maintenance being approved per DOA.
Health, Safety, Security & Environment
- Ensure that all relevant health, safety, security and environmental procedures, instructions and controls are adhered to ensure safety and security of employees, quality of products/services and environmental compliance.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge:
Degree in Accounting. Professional qualification or experience in SOX/ICoFR Framework will be added advantage.
Experience:
1 to 3 years of experience in Accounting/Audit.
Skills:
Attention to details, teamwork. Ability to handle full sets of accounts or relevant experience in Oil and Gas sector or those with professional qualification(s) will be an added advantage.
