Fresh Graduate Program 2027 - HSSE & Asset Integrity - Process Safety

Mubadala Energy Fresh Graduate Program is an internship program with excellent ways to gain exposure and working experience in an international Oil and Gas Company, as well as an opportunity to develop knowledge, skills and competencies. The program will start in the beginning of 2027 up to 31 December 2027.

Responsibilities include but not limited:

• Assist in screening and reviewing Process Safety deliverables against project requirements, approved philosophies, safety-study recommendations, and applicable standards.
• Maintain action registers for HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, SIL, QRA, fire and explosion, hazardous area classification, escape and evacuation, and other relevant safety studies.
• Track action owners, target dates, responses, supporting evidence, and close-out status, highlighting overdue or unclear items to the mentor.
• Prepare action-status summaries and support follow-up with engineering disciplines, contractors, and project teams.
• Support HSSE activities, including the preparation and review of HSSE Plans and HSSE Bridging documents.
• Prepare technical summaries and complete a mentor-approved project and final presentation.
• Perform other relevant Process Safety assignments as directed by the mentor. All activities will be supervised, with no independent technical approval, verification, or action close-out authority.

Qualifications: 

• This Program is Open to Fresh Graduates & Early Career Professionals (Maximum 1 Year Experience, Internship included)
• Fresh Graduates with bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Safety Engineering, or Process Engineering.
• Minimum GPA (Grade Point Average) is 3.20 out of 4.00
• Basic knowledge of chemical or process engineering, process safety, and risk assessment principles.
• This Program is Open to Fresh Graduates & Early Career Professionals ( 1 Year Experience)
• Ability to read Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs). Familiarity with HAZID and HAZOP is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Ability to organize data, check details, summarize findings, and communicate clearly.
• Awareness of oil and gas Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation (EPCI) activities and common Process Safety deliverables is desirable.
• Safety minded, ethical, disciplined, detail-oriented, curious, and eager to learn.
• Able to collaborate, accept feedback, communicate issues promptly, manage priorities, maintain confidentiality, and follow company procedures and document-control requirements.
• Basic risk understanding or training related to process safety in oil and gas is an advantage, but not mandatory.
