Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled SCADA Engineer with expertise in PowerOn Reliance and C++ programming to design, implement, and maintain SCADA systems in the power and utility industry. This hybrid role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize SCADA system functionality, integrate field devices, and ensure cybersecurity compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement SCADA systems using PowerOn Reliance and C++.
  • Integrate SCADA systems with PLCs, RTUs, and IEDs.
  • Develop HMI screens, custom modules, and control algorithms.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and perform system upgrades.
  • Implement secure coding practices and conduct risk assessments.
  • Create technical documentation and provide user training.
  • Collaborate on project plans and ensure successful delivery.

Mandatory Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a SCADA Engineer with expertise in PowerOn Reliance and C++.
  • Knowledge of SCADA protocols (DNP3, Modbus) and communication technologies.
  • Experience developing HMI screens and integrating SCADA systems with field devices.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices for SCADA systems.
  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications in SCADA or related technologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Project management experience with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
