IT Specialist
About the job IT Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Installs, configures and maintains all computers, laptops, printers and office IT equipment.
- Installs and maintains Windows operating systems and required business applications.
- Manages the company's Local Area Network (LAN), Wireless Network and Internet connectivity.
- Configures and maintains VPN connections for secure remote access.
- Monitors network performance and resolves connectivity issues.
- Installs and maintains VoIP telephony systems and call center infrastructure.
- Supports CRM platforms, dialer systems and other call center software.
- Performs installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of routers, switches, firewalls and network devices.
- Creates and manages user accounts, permissions and access rights.
- Ensures company data security and implements cybersecurity best practices.
- Performs regular backup procedures and disaster recovery planning.
- Monitors antivirus and endpoint protection systems.
- Provides first and second level IT support to employees.
- Coordinates with external IT vendors and internet service providers when necessary.
- Maintains inventory of all IT assets and licenses.
- Ensures uninterrupted operation of all IT systems required for daily business.
- Assists in the setup of new workstations for newly hired employees.
- Prepares technical documentation and reports when required.
- Performs preventive maintenance of all IT equipment.
- Performs any other duties assigned by Management.
Responsibilities:
