Position: Deputy Manager

To strategically lead and manage the accounting function in the absence of Accounting Manager to support the company overall business objectives. This includes developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures, providing timely and accurate financial information to management, ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting and regulatory requirements, strengthening internal controls, preparing all financial reports accurately and timely according to relevant accounting standards and legal requirements, and providing strong leadership and mentorship to the accounting team.

Job responsibilities:

- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounting department;

- Identifying and solving staffs problems completing their tasks;

- Providing guidelines to staffs to perform accurate bookkeeping;

- Controlling bank transfer process and reviewing supporting/primary documents;

- Checking processed journal entries and confirming correct bookkeeping twice a month;

- Performing reconciliation all account in trial balance;

- Assessing corporate income and deferred taxes calculation and consulting with tax advisory contractor;

- Processing month-end closing;

- Generating internal report monthly and quarterly basis and HQ related tax reports;

- Organizing process for archiving documents properly;

- Monitor in preparation of VAT and WHT reports and checking CIT, TP- Transactional reports, and PIT;

- Manage the review of payroll and its bookkeeping;

- Preparing statutory financial statements and submitting it;

- Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports;

- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards;

- Leading statutory audit and coordinating its requests;

- Assisting in preparation for Transfer pricing report;

- Managing the implementation and maintenance of accounting system and software;

- Mentoring a team of accountants;

- Identifying changes in accounting standards and regulations and implementing it;

- Support other department staffs to complete their tasks;

Skills required:

- Bachelor or higher degree in Accounting, Finance, and Economics;

- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in preparing financial statements and reports and supervisory role with extensive IFRS knowlegde;

- Familiarity with Mongolian Tax Laws (CIT, VAT, PIT) and regulations;

- MCPA is preferred;

- ACCA/CPA or MCPTA is with advantage;

- Experience with budgeting and forecasting;

- Ability to coordinate team operation with strong leadership and management skills;

Advanced English.
