Responsibilities:

  • Outline the scope of projects, including determining the start and delivery dates
  • Create and define project goals and objectives
  • Analyze each phase of projects to determine budgets
  • Estimate the project timeline and make sure teams adhere to delivery dates
  • Ensure the project has adequate staff to complete each stage on schedule
  • Identify and evaluate risks that can derail project delivery and provide solutions to prevent them
  • Prepare and present internal and external project reports for stakeholders
  • Provide comprehensive project data to teams to help them work more effectively
  • Identify and communicate changes in the project plan to stakeholders
  • Collaborating with teams and other stakeholders on short-term and long-term plans for resource allocation and work scheduling
  • Maintain records on project schedule processes

Requirements:

A minimum of 3-4 years of experience as a Planner or Scheduler in a mining company. 

- Good Project Management Skills and sufficient Project Management Experience

- Rational & systematic analysis of the situation to enable decisions on more varied issues; questioning the evidence to evaluate issues.

- Communicates positively with clarity and understanding; makes confident, articulate presentations with structure and control. 

- Ability to take control of most everyday situations and to assume responsibility, organizing and guiding where necessary.
