Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations at a mining site. The successful candidate will be responsible for inventory control, material receiving and dispatching, warehouse safety, and leading the warehouse team to ensure efficient and accurate operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily operations of the site warehouse.
  • Manage the receiving, inspection, storage, and issuance of materials, spare parts, tools, and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts and cycle counts.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to replenish stock.
  • Ensure all warehouse activities comply with company policies, safety regulations, and inventory procedures.
  • Lead, train, and supervise warehouse personnel.
  • Coordinate with maintenance, operations, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely material availability.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Prepare warehouse reports, inventory analysis, and KPI reports.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of warehouse or inventory management experience, preferably in the mining, construction, or heavy industry sector.
  • Previous experience supervising a warehouse team.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and material management.
  • Experience using ERP or warehouse management systems (SAP, Oracle, Pronto, Odoo, or similar).
  • Good computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel.
  • English communication skills are preferred.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to work on a roster basis at a mining site.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing mining equipment, spare parts, and MRO inventory.
  • Forklift certification or knowledge of warehouse equipment is an advantage.
  • Understanding of warehouse safety standards and HSE requirements.
  • Experience in multinational or foreign-invested companies is preferred.
