HS Code Classification Supervisor

The HS Code Classification Supervisor ensures that our company follows all tax and tariffs mandated by the Philippine Law. This role will be responsible for supporting and providing back-up in the importing, developing, implementing, and maintaining product compliance strategies and processes, collaborating with various teams, and conducting regular assessments to ensure products are in compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitoring and controlling in-house customs clearance services and other logistical services to achieve growth and profit objective.
• Ensuring team assignments and operational procedures effectively comply with customs regulations and meet its requirements.
• Handle daily import-export documents of customs formalities and determining tariffs.
• Closely work and coordinate with superiors to conduct company's customs clearance procedure and policy.
• Negotiate and implement effectively clearance procedures.
• Maintain company's master list daily.
• Stay up to date with local, national and international regulations and standards relevant to the company's products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including import team, legal departments and MY Compliance team (HQ), to align product compliance efforts with business goals.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• At least 1-2 years of experience in HS Code Classification.
• Fluent in English both spoken and written.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, multitasking and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Amenable to work in Carmona, Cavite
