About the job Talent Acquisition Specialist
As a Recruitment Specialist you will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and selecting qualified candidates to fill job openings in our Store Operations Team. You will also be responsible for managing and facilitating internship programs within an organization or educational institution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partnering with hiring managers to determine and calibrate staffing needs including the criteria and job description of the positions.
- Conducting end to end recruitment which includes:
- Posting of job ads to various job posting platforms,
- Sourcing and screening of resumes/cv,
- Administering interviews to create shortlist of qualified candidates,
- Endorsing qualified candidates to hiring managers for interview,
- Monitoring and following up of the interview process and status.
- Maintaining relationships with hiring managers to ensure staffing goals are achieved.
- Conducting job offers and discussion of employer information, details and benefits.
- Participating in other recruitment activities which may be required from time to time.
- Tracks and updates current trends and information regarding the companys organization structure, personnel policy, and local laws regarding employment practices.
- Updating recruitment reports, databases including employment activity in a timely and accurate manner.
- Oversee the internship program, ensuring it meets the educational and professional development needs of students. This includes enhancing program guidelines and policies and addressing any issues that arise during the internship experience.
- Conducts onboarding and orienting of interns including providing information about company policies benefits and responsibilities aligned to their internship plan.
- Counsel and advise students on internship opportunities, helping them identify suitable placements that align with their career goals and academic requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external organizations to identify and promote internship opportunities. Act as a liaison between students and employers to facilitate placements.
- Maintain accurate records of internship placements, student progress, and employer feedback. Analyze data to improve the internship program.
- Collaboration with faculty and academic departments to integrate internship experiences into the curriculum and ensure that they meet educational standards.
- Performs other job-related tasks that may be assigned by his/her immediate superior from time to time.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field
- 2-4 years of recruitment experience; RPO experience is a plus
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Computer savvy
- Multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail
- Adaptable and flexible
- Ability to work under pressure
- Capable of planning and managing tasks with minimal supervision and within time constraints
- Willing to work onsite from Mondays to Fridays from 9 AM to 6 PM
