Position: Compliance Leader (Mobile Money)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Compliance Leader to join our Mobile Money team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to mobile money department

Key Responsibilities:

• Formulating and updating the policies and procedures for business risk & compliance functions
• Ensuring that  MPT Money products & services comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and rules and advising on all compliance-related matters
• Reviewing and ensuring the implementation of the AML/CFT policy and procedures on a regular basis and training all staffs of MPT Money
• Identify & explore new business opportunities and maintain good relations with government entities and Banks
• Liaises with Regulators and government organizations, especially with the Central Bank of Myanmar, the Financial Regulatory Department, the Consumers Affairs Department, and MFIU
• Responsible for corporate Affair of MPT Money

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, or a related field
• Certified Compliance by Central Bank of Myanmar
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a compliance role, preferably in the mobile money or financial services industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proven track record of developing and implementing compliance programs
• Experience in conducting compliance audits and investigations
• Fluent in English and Burmese, both written and verbal

Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and develop team members
