Position: Brand and Advertising Planning Manager
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Brand and Advertising Planning Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing strategic brand and advertising plans to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of marketing, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy Development: Formulate and execute comprehensive brand strategies, including STP (segmentation, targeting, and positioning), brand structure, and brand identity, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
Communication Strategy: Develop and implement communication strategies across all touchpoints, both digital and physical, to enhance customer perception and engagement.
Advertising Planning: Create and manage advertising strategies, selecting appropriate media channels and platforms, and ensuring effective execution and coordination with internal teams and external agencies.
Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify customer insights, market trends, and the competitive landscape, using data-driven approaches to refine strategies.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of brand, communication, and advertising strategies, making data-driven recommendations for optimization.
Budget Management: Formulate and manage budgets required for tactical execution, ensuring effective resource allocation to maximize ROI.
Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of brand and advertising strategies with overall company goals.
Data Management: Collect, manage, and analyze data necessary for strategic planning and performance reporting.
Industry Expertise: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in brand and advertising planning.
Skills/Knowledge:
Marketing Expertise: Advanced knowledge in marketing, communication strategies, and advertising, with the ability to lead brand and advertising campaigns.
Analytical Skills: Proficiency in statistics, data mining, and the use of database and analysis tools (e.g., Excel), with strong reporting skills (Advanced PowerPoint proficiency required).
Language Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing, and listening).
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Problem Solving & Risk Management: Strong problem-solving abilities and risk management skills, with flexibility to adapt to changing conditions.
Experience/Background:
Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in brand and advertising planning, (preferably in the telecommunications industry).
Education: a bachelor's degree in marketing, Advertising, or a related field; (an MBA or Master's in Marketing is preferred.)
Industry Experience: Experience working in the telecommunications industry and familiarity with a diverse workplace.
Agency Experience: Previous experience working in or with an advertising agency is beneficial.
