About the Job:

We are looking to hire a marketing data analyst who will provide data-driven insights and analysis to help measure and optimize campaign performance for our agency clients. This person will work closely with the Account Management, Project Management, Creative, Development, Strategy, and Media teams to analyze, interpret, and communicate key data, delivering actionable insights that drive marketing decisions. You will play an integral role in enhancing the agencys data-driven approach by developing reports, dashboards, and visualizations that make complex data accessible and actionable for clients and internal teams alike.

Function:

  • This role offers a hybrid work schedule, with an expectation to be in the office 2 days a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays recommended) or when needed for client meetings
  • Collaborate with Account, Strategy, Digital, and Media teams to analyze campaign performance and identify actionable insights
  • Assist in developing data solutions and analytical frameworks that support campaign effectiveness and drive client results
  • Responsibilities:
  • Work with Account and Strategy teams to define campaign goals, identify key metrics, and ensure data tracking methodologies are aligned with business objectives
  • Extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources (e.g., media performance, social, website analytics, email marketing, etc.) into reports with actionable insights for campaign optimization
  • Support the measurement of campaign effectiveness by defining, monitoring, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Develop test and control methodologies to assess the impact of campaigns and optimize strategies
  • Provide strategic insight on media performance and digital campaign data, offering recommendations to improve ROI and reach targets
  • Create dashboards and dynamic reports using Excel, Looker Studio, Tableau, or similar tools to showcase campaign insights and performance metrics
  • Interpret trends and data to communicate findings and recommendations to internal teams and clients, tailoring presentations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Partner with Digital Strategy, Paid Media, and Social Media teams to integrate findings into campaign strategies and decision-making processes
  • Assist with data validation and quality checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of campaign data
  • Generate compelling visualizations that highlight key trends and insights in campaign data
  • Provide ongoing support for new business efforts, including assisting with data-driven proposals, presentations, and pitches
  • Support day-to-day analytics projects under the guidance of the Director of Digital Strategy and VP of Media, including preparing materials for meetings, building report prototypes, and creating presentation templates

Required Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, economics, social science research)
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in data analysis, ideally in a marketing, media, or agency environment
  • Experience with analytics tools such as Excel, Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Tableau, SuperMetrics, or similar tools for reporting and data visualization
  • Familiarity with data processing and transformation (ETL) and database management (SQL, R, SAS, or SPSS)
  • Strong ability to analyze data and derive insights that address business challenges
  • Proficient in data blending and visualization techniques and creating impactful presentations for clients and internal teams
  • Critical thinking skills with a structured problem-solving approach to data-driven decision-making
  • Strong interest in AI and automation tools to improve workflow efficiency and enhance data analysis
  • Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex data in a clear and engaging manner
  • Agency experience preferred, with a strong understanding of how marketing campaigns are measured and optimized across channels
