Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven New Business Manager to join our full-service advertising agency. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing a book of business with a focus on high-value prospective clients across key verticals, including healthcare and industrial/B2B sectors. You will play a key role in identifying and nurturing new business opportunities while working closely with internal teams to deliver tailored marketing solutions to meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and Grow Client Portfolio:
    • Continuously manage and expand a book of business, prioritizing prospective clients 
  • Prospecting and Business Development:
    • Identify and research potential clients using a variety of channels, including networking events, social media, and industry research.
    • Strategically prospect and cold-call to grow a customer base, generating new business opportunities.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and resolve client concerns, ensuring strong, long-term relationships with both current and potential clients.
    • Establish and maintain relationships through proactive communication and personalized service.
  • Sales Presentations and Pitches:
    • Work closely with the strategy team to prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, showcasing our marketing solutions and how they can address clients' unique business challenges.
  • Negotiation and Closing Deals:
    • Manage the negotiation process, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and agreements with clients. Successfully close deals to meet revenue targets.
  • Revenue Forecasting:
    • Provide weekly revenue forecasts with a high level of accuracy (within plus or minus 5-7%) to help guide business planning and strategy.
  • Sales Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status. Provide regular updates and detailed reports to the ELT on sales progress and achievements.
  • Achieve Sales Targets:
    • Meet or exceed individual sales goals, contributing to the overall success and growth of the sales team.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a sales role, preferably within advertising, marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong background in business development and client relationship management, with experience in healthcare and/or industrial/B2B sectors preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully closing deals and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of marketing solutions and the ability to tailor services to client needs.
