Job Summary:

As a key member of the marketing team, the Trade Marketing Manager will lead all trade-related marketing initiatives to elevate the presence of our client's  brands. The Trade Marketing Manager ensures the brands are visually compelling and consistently represented at the point of sale, while also managing showrooms and trade fair participation across the U.S. and international markets. The ideal candidate has strong creativity, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of retail dynamics.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement trade marketing strategies aligned with brand and sales objectives, from conception to execution.
  • Design and produce Point-of-purchase (POP) materials (e.g., labels, posters, displays, etc.).
  • Develop promotional tools to drive in-store sell-through.
  • Design and implement brand store concepts that maintain a consistent visual identity across all retail channels.
  • Plan, budget, and coordinate trade shows, including showroom design, production, installation, and logistics.
  • Oversee the maintenance and presentation of the company showrooms.
  • Support the company's network of retailers in their initiatives, providing them with the appropriate tools to ensure the correct presentation of our brands and products in stores.
  • Collaborate with the other departments of the company to ensure the proper roll-out of the POP materials and to maximize the number of branded doors globally.
  • Conduct regular competitive audits and make recommendations to enhance in-store brand presence.
  • Manage relationships with vendors (architects, contractors, POP vendors, etc.).
  • Respond to marketing requests related to trade initiatives.
  • Manage and optimize the Trade Marketing budget.

KPIs:

  • Net sales and gross margin.
  • Quality and impact of trade fair presence.
  • Number of retail locations fully updated with the latest POP assets.
  • Efficiency in project delivery and adherence to budget.

Job Qualifications:

  • University or technical degree.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in trade marketing, retail marketing, or visual merchandising.
  • Strong project management skills and vendor coordination experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and/or CAD tools is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a small and lean organization, self-motivated, highly organized, team player, hands-on, multitask, result-oriented, and adaptable to a lean, fast-paced environment.

WORKPLACE & TRAVEL

In-office position, with trips for meetings with vendors, clients, and exhibitions (10% to 20%).
